Introducing Ritual Chic:
Purpose Driven Candles
Thank you for your interest in Ritual Chic candles! We created these candles to bring you good vibes for the rituals that matter to you.
How did we infuse good energy vibes into the Ritual Chic candles?
All of the candles in this amazing line of herbal-infused, crystal-adorned candles have been created with love and sweet intentions.
Each hand-poured candle is specifically created to balance an area of your life. They even have positive energy infused in them while they harden!
To infuse the candles, I place each individual candle on sheets with positive words written on them. As I place the candles on these sheets, the words are spoken over them while htz frequency music calibrated to the heart energy is played in the room.
Then I place my hands over them and focus on the chakra further so each candle becomes Reiki-charged.
Why I chose to NOT color the wax:
There Is not any color for the additives in wax that didn’t have some sort of chemical In it. Actually, there are natural ways, but they are inconsistent and not the exact colors of the rainbow. Plus, since Soy can only hold a certain capacity, if I add color I must remove some of the scent. The scent is the transformative agent in the candle that Is the first experience to inspire a feeling of centeredness.
How long do these candles burn and how do you care for them to encourage optimal usage of the entire candle?
These are slow burning candles. Each tin can burn from 30 to 40 hours. You should never burn it longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. If you never blow it out the tin gets hot to the touch. If you burn it 3 to 4 hours at a time, you will still get amazing scent filtered through the room or house. Once you blow it out, the aroma will continue to travel through the area. These candles actually burn 50 - 60% slower then any soy blend candle. This 100% Soy has the expanded capacity to hold more scent.
Soy Wax is Special:
Having the wax softer means that the appearance on top changes. Soy wax has personality and memory. If the table they are drying on is shaken, even though the liquid wax shows no difference, it will dry with lines signifying where the candle moved. The memory aspect comes into play while burning.
The First Time You Light Your Candle:
On the first burn set aside 2 hours. Allow the candle to burn all the way across the top. When there is a pool of liquid wax on the top of the candle, wait until it has a quarter inch of melted wax and then you can blow out the candle. When you want to light the candle again, The tip of the candle wick should be trimmed for 2 reasons. If you light the candle, then quickly must leave and extinguish the light there will be a small crevice of wax that was burned around the wick. On the next lighting of the candle, the soy wax remembers that it only burned a small circle and will continue to tunnel downward, leaving larger amounts of unburned wax around the edges.
Why Trim Your Wick?
First reason, the wick expands on top because it is double cotton wound. That expansion contains little curled pieces of fabric. When you light that part WITHOUT trimming it… the fire pushes out and black pieces of the wick fall into the candle. Second reason, as the wick burns It gets longer and top heavy. If you don’t trim the wick it will bend into the candle and completely submerge itself.
